Spartan Kids medals are earned, not given. Kids can race different distances with progressively harder obstacles, and while it’s all about fun, they’ll also gain grit and mental toughness too. This is a family event - relatives and friends welcome!
All kids finishers get to take home special Spartan Kids swag, and proudly show their family and friends what they earned out on course. 10 to 14 year olds racing Competitive earn special medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and merchandise vouchers.

The ‘22 Race Season continues to offer unique events for our kids.
While it’s all about fun, kids will also enjoy their experience of pushing their own limits and gaining grit and mental toughness.
4 to 14 year olds can take part without specific training. Kids simply need a desire to run outdoors and have fun. They need not be fearless or fit; both those things will develop after taking part! In order to help our little Spartans to better prepare for the challenge, we will also arrange professional in-person training camps before race date. For each race season, we will carefully select the best obstacles in order to bring the best obstacle racing experience for our little Spartans. Read below for more information about obstacle upgrade and official race rules of the season.
The Kids Elite Group racers will receive reward points along with corresponding rewards according to their group rankings within their age group. The four competition areas are East China, North China, South China and Midwest China. The top 40 male and female racers of each age group in each area will be qualified for the Spartan Kids China Championship of each race season. The male and female racers who rank the first in the Spartan Kids China Championship will be qualified to represent China to compete in the Spartan Kids World Championship.
